For detailed technical specifications, explore the following resources:
Current Wireless Network Card/Adapter: Refer to Intel's guide to identify your wireless adapter and driver version.
Processor Model/Generation: Check Intel's articles on identifying your Intel processor and interpreting processor names.
Interface (M.2 NGFF / CNVio): Stay tuned for our upcoming support article.
Operating System (OS): Determine your Windows operating system version using Microsoft's tool.Essential Compatibility Notes
Key factors for compatibility include:
1) Processor/CPU 2) M.2 interface, especially if CNVio is required 3) Operating system versionCheck the compatibility chart below to ensure your new model aligns with your system's requirements.
Important: CNVio version 1 (e.g., AC-9461, AC-9462, AC-9560) is not compatible with CNVio2 (e.g., AX201, AX211, AX411).CNVio2 is not backwards compatible with CNVio (version 1).
The AC-9560 does not have an upgrade path. Do not attempt to replace it with AX201, AX211, or AX411 as it may cause system failure. Incorrect installation of the CNVio version card can result in system boot failure. Systems requiring CNVio (or CNVio2) typically do not support PCIe/NGFF modules like AC-9260, AX200, AX210.Compatibility Chart
